Can CJ Stroud Buck(eye) This Concerning Trend?

With Bryce Young going #1 overall to the Carolina Panthers in the 2023 NFL Draft, CJ Stroud became the second QB off the board, heading to Houston with the #2 pick.

Now he’s fighting an uphill battle when it comes to career luck.

In the history of the NFL Draft, there have been 16 instances of quarterbacks going #1 and #2 overall, producing some mixed results. That being said, more often than not the guy selected at #1 ends up in a better spot long-term with stats and accolades. Peyton Manning, first pick by the Colts in 1999, is the only quarterback from any of those classes to win a Super Bowl with the team that drafted him.

From Dream to Reality: An NFL Star’s Journey From the Eyes of His Family

Everybody who follows the NFL knows the stars of the game.

These athletes are highly popularized and easily recognizable from the amount of press they receive and through the mass following that the league receives.  Fans can even interact with these players on a personal type of level through things such as fantasy football or playing the popular video game Madden.

Chicago Bears 2023 Draft Takeaways

The 2023 NFL Draft took place this past weekend in Kansas City, Missouri.

As an avid Chicago Bears fan, this draft was more highly anticipated than any other in recent memory.  The Bears finished with the worst record in the NFL this past season, which gave them the #1 overall pick in this year’s draft.

However, Bears General Manager Ryan Poles traded this pick for the Panther’s first round pick this year (No. 9) and next year, along with several later round picks and superstar wide receiver DJ Moore. This was a great move from Poles as it gave the Bears the draft capital necessary to fill the many glaring holes in their roster, most significant the offensive and defensive lines.

Although Rodgers is Out, the Packers Won’t Be as Bad as People Think

It goes without saying that the story of the NFL offseason has been quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ move out of Wisconsin to New York.

A move that has been looming for multiple seasons now, Rodgers finally made it clear to the organization that drafted him and had him under center for 18 years that it was time for him to move on. Undoubtedly bittersweet for him and millions of Packers fans across the globe, this trade opens up new doors for both the Jets and the Packers.

Cheesehead to Big Apple?

“I’ve made it clear that my intention was to play and my intention was to play for the New York Jets,” Rodgers said.

The rumors have been swirling for weeks now, but it seems like it may actually happen: Aaron Rodgers is leaving the Green Bay Packers for the New York Jets. As a longtime NFL analyst, I can say without hesitation that this would be a game-changing move for both Rodgers and the Jets.
